Sounds like the Ron Scott person was a newbie in the business. He or she will learn soon enough that if they want make money off us, they are the ones making nice, not us... OTOH, your reply was quite sarcastic. My wife (who is a recruiter) didn't think she would have appreciated the answer either. If you had stated that you weren't in the habit of sending your resume blindly and asked if they would give you a call, perhaps you would have had a different response.
