Oracle WebServer2: upgrade?

We are currently running oracle webserver 1.0 minus the WebListener. We replaced it with the Apache Web Server. Is Oracle webserver 2.0 able to use the Apache(I have heard no, but 3.0 is able). If No when is 3.0 availible and how much to upgrade just the oracle webagent and I guess install the web request broker? What are the benefits of upgrading? Any other comments would be great.
