: I try to install WOW (World Oracle Web) under Unix-sco with
: Oracle7 Server Release 7.1.5.2
: when compiling the kit, i have the error message
: undefined symbol ( many symbols ...) in file
: $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libsqlnet.a
: I have find this explication in the online documentations help, but
: i don't understand it very well ,
: can anybody explain me this ?
: Q: I get undefined symbols when linking WOW!
: A: Your are not using Oracle 7.1.3! Either upgrade, or link WOW using
: the same libraries as the demos in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/oracle.mk
It's very simple... Just take a look at the $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/ oracle.mk file, if it exists, and use the same libs and objects as described in there. <== Quick & dirty way. The second solution is using nm and check all Oracle libs for all unresolved symbols. <== Takes more times... :)
Hope it helps...
