Oracle7 on Novell is a good port. Generally speaking you will get very good performance vs. NT ... all else being equal.

I would not use the Novell server for file sharing at the same time. If you can swing it just put Oracle7 NLMS up, no users and let Oracle use Novell as it requires without other requirements interfering.

Its a good Oracle7 port.
