There is a review of both Microsoft SQL Server for Windows NT and Oracle 7.0.16 for Windows in the 11-14-94 issue of InfoWorld. I haven't read the article yet, but both products scored a 7.5/10. SQL Server was tops in terms of price (1/6!), and the easy-to-use GUI administration and maintenance tools. Oracle won out in speed (slight), programming languages (PL/SQL), and documentation.
