Also, PC Magazine Oct 11,94 reviewed Intel SQL database servers. Oracle won on performance, but SQL Server was pretty impressive. They showed both Msoft and Sybase versions. Pretty good comparisons, but the Op Sys wasn't the same for all versions (although the DB supplier was allowed to pick their best performer). i.e. Oracle tested on Novell/NLM, Msoft SQL Server on NT, etc. Oracle will send you a reprint if you call them.

I'm interested in benchmarks of Oracle on Novell/SCO/NT systems. Which is really better, and by how much? NT and SCO support SMP, so I would think this would be better than Novell, but does anybody know for sure??? TIA.
