     As far as I have used Oracle, the SQL*Forms and SQL*Menu 
     package runs similarly (i.e. with no code changes) across
     platforms.  I'm not sure one can say the same of other
     databases/fron ends.  This is historically an Oracle
     feature although there have been some recent grumblings
     that they may be limiting the "universal" approach to
     platform support.
