Most definitely! We have a 600 node net, with about 50-75 active Oracle users, and we use both Oracle6 and 7 databases. You will need to install the client tools that come with Oracle 7 in order to access both versions.

We use 4D, HyperCard, C, Clear Access (for point and shoot queries and Excel macros) and Novell's Visual Appbuilder. If you would like any particulars, please email me at work - dscott_at_prubank.com Oracle has turned out to be a great solution for us!
