We have just received DB class libraries from a company called Objects++. The name of the software is called SQL Objects++. Aparently, the libraries are an object-oriented interface to virtually all the most common DBMS' (Oracle, DB/2, Dbase, etc.).

We haven't actually used the libraries yet, but I saw a demonstration at a recent IBM OS/2 products conference, and it seems to be a viable solution.
