DOUG -- In short, your source for this information is full of puckey.

I come to work every day with the goal of making Forms 4.0 and
its follow-ons a better product, have been for over four
years, and have every intention to continue. The group of 25
people that work with me are singularly dedicated to the same
goal. If your source knows something we don't then please have
him or her contact me. The fact that we are working full time
(and in many cases *over*time) on supporting 4.0 issues as
well as getting a timely follow-on release out should be a
one-two punch that knocks some sense back into whomever is
giving you this clearly bogus information.

Like any company's first release of a product, our first
production release of 4.0 (v4.0.11) had some issues which our
testing partners let us know about, and to which we promptly
responded with a v4.0.12 maintenance release (in shipping
since January) which completely addressed them. We even began
a new program whereby we gave a pre-release of the 4.0.12 code
out to four major testing partners, and four major internal
Oracle "clients" to get their buyoff before declaring the code
production. The strategy paid off and you'll notice the
difference when you try 4.0.12 and future releases.

I hope this addresses your concerns.
