Oracle 7.0.12, A/UX and SYSDATE

I noticed that SYSDATE does not take into account the timezone information, instead it blindly uses GMT (default times), this with A/UX 3.0.1 and Oracle 7.0.12.
Has this been fixed in any later upgrades? Actually where do I get those from? The SYSDATE bug makes it hard to write decent report tools.
