I really need some help, and I have no place else to turn.

I need to use Oracle SQL*NET v1.1 to connect to my AIX RS6000 running Oracle6. I was told Novell's Lan Workplace for DOS v4.1 was all I needed. I installed LWP and all of ITS utilities work perfectly. When I run SQLTCP it seems to load OK, but then if I want to run, say SQLDBA, I get the error 'ORA:06120 NETTCP driver not loaded'. Interestingly, I get this same message with ALL the Oracle DOS utilities, AND I also get the same message when I don't EVEN have TCPIP.EXE loaded. I can try a different OS, different CPU hardware, different NIC, different config file settings, but I have NO idea where to start. I called Novell and they said 'call oracle',I called Oracle and they said that since my company inherited this software and it was originally purchased without support I can get no technical support unless we buy a contract. All the Oracle stuff runs fine on the UNIX machine. I feel that I can get everything working, if I can just get by this ONE problem.

If any kind souls are out there who can give me any kind of a hint, I surely would be in your debt.
