I assume you mean Standard mode which is what 'win /s' starts. I'll guess that you're doing this because you have the DOS SQL*Net drivers. There are now Windows SQL*Net dirvers implemented as .dlls. You can use these in enhanced mode. This most likely won't help speed it up much...
