Oraperl maintenance

Some while ago, Kevin Stock lost his job and went off the net.

Since then, Oraperl has not been maintained.

I now have a problem. I find that Oraperl won't work for me if I try to process a SELECT yielding more than 16 columns.

I have used Oraperl's excellent debugging facilities to isolate the problem. It comes down to a correct OCI call giving the wrong answer. I.e. it's Oracle's fault.

I have reported the problem to Oracle as a bug in 7.0.12 on SunOs. Doubtless, in the fullness of time, they will fix it. Meanwhile, I am stuck. I will have to modify Oraperl to program round Oracle's bug.

The point of this posting is to discover if Kevin Stock is back on the net, and if he isn't, what we are going to do about it.

Kevin - Are you there??

Oraperl users - If Kevin is still out of touch, what are WE going to do to maintain and develop Oraperl??
