There is a fourth Vendor, Bull, who offer a greatly enhanced version of Tuxedo called BOS/TP - there are other Tuxedo licencees as well (ICL and UNISYS spring to mind).

There is however a standard interface being drafted at the moment called "XATMI" (X/Open Application Transaction Management Interface) which will standardise the TM<-->application interface - it is just reaching X/open Preliminary Specification Stage.

It is worth noting the similarity of the names "XATMI" and "ATMI" (the Tuxedo /T interface) - this helps one to understand the basis of the XATMI interface!
