First patch to 8.1.7.4

Second the answer as to how best to do this depends on several factors that you didn't discuss. Here are some questions that must be addressed.

  1. How much data?
  2. What is the window (how much time) to perform the replication?
  3. What possible conflicts might be created that would require resolution?
  4. Are any of these databases shutdown for a cold backup on a daily basis? -- Daniel A. Morgan University of Washington damorgan_at_x.washington.edu (replace x with u to respond) Puget Sound Oracle Users Group www.psoug.org
