URGENT !!! Problem with printing in character mode

I need printing report in FILE but in unusaly widith (400 character per
line).
When I generate report on screen than it's looking OK, but when generate in
FILE doesn't work.
I create my *.prt file with
:
printer "DISKETA"
height 66
width 400
after page control(L)
return control(M)
linefeed control(J)
but in file line is 140 character.
Is any idea for this problem !!!
