Control over LOV popup size in forms 5.0

[Quoted] I am trying to pop up an lov for a text item and let it query on any text populated in the text box. This works fine, but very slowly since there are over 100,000 distinct rows in this table. So, I turned on the lov property filter on display. When I do this, the lov pops right up, but it only shows me 1 row of data, unless I have a title for the columns, in which cases it only displays the titles. Is there a way to adjust the height of the lov with the filter on display property turned on ? I'd like at least 3 rows to return.
