Troubles installing Application Server

I'm installing OAS in a Linux machine with the next configuration

-Linux RedHat 6.2
-Oracle RDBMS 8.1.5 full operative and working
-Apache 1.3.12 running in the port 80
-OAS 4.0.8.1
My problem is the next:

The installation successfully displays the node manager page (set in the port 8888). But, if I, after the installation, make manually a stop of this page:

owsctl stop -nodemgr

and then, a full start

owsctl start

And I try to see any page in the server:

192.168.0.2 --> it works (display the Apache Test Page)
192.168.0.2:8888 ---> returns "The request did not specify a valid host"
192.168.0.2:7777 ---> (port in which I set the "www listener"), returns the same error

And I'm NOT using a proxy. 192.168.0.2 is the server ip number (we are using a Intranet not connected to internet, and without name server)

My question is: what am I doing wrong?

I don't want to lose Apache as the listener for web (for a future connection to Internet, Apache provides best cgi-bin interface than OAS..)

My personal opinion is that OAS can't be installed with a running Apache, and the OAS www listener must be in the port 80, but, in this case, I lose Apache:-(

Is there any GOOD manual of installation (the Oracle manual sucks, in the installation only works the character mode...)

Thanks for your comments and regards from Chile
