Hi have you tried this

a sheet for the lowest subquery (only include linking column) a 2nd sheet for the middle subquery linked in a condition to the lowest subquery (only include linking column)
a 3rd sheet for the parent query linked in a condition to the middle subquery.

when you run the parent the subqueries should resolve themselves from the bottom up.

in the conditions say

'a' IN [select New Subquery]

in wizard select existing sheet and match the linking columns if above is used (ie only column in subquery) will automatically match
