Re: UTL_FILE package help needed.

Ok, so now I'm responding to my own posts...

I believe I've discovered (via Metalink) that for client side file I/O I need to use TEXT_IO.

...alas, I'm not able to find any documentation on TEXT_IO...will keep digging....
