Thanks for your answer, but the problem is, that i cant write the | character or the _at_ character.

Sqlplus or SqlWorksheet does not accept these characters from my keyboard. I have a Toshiba Tecra 750CDT, Winnt 4.0 with Servicepack 4, Oracle 8i NLS_LANG = GERMAN_GERMANY.WE8ISO8859P1 I don�t have any problems with other software
