How to take details of attributes into Designer 2000 which are there already in the form of ascii files

My problem is like this.

My problem is like this.
I have tablewise attributes and all details relating to the attributes in the form of ascii file.
Is there any option to directly take it into ER diagram module of Designer 2000 without re-keying in those details.
Any pointers would be appreciated ..
