SQL clients for UNIX

Personally, I run several Unices =) including FreeBSD, BSDI/OS, Solaris, Ultrix (don't ask - old VaxStation), and Linux and all the scripting and programming I've done are based in said OS's. I don't like NT but may have to work with it. I'm new to SQL but not to programming in general.

I would prefer a BSD UNIX solution but I'll settle for anything that isn't [Quoted] MS Windows... Unfortunately, Solaris is out at the moment because we can't upgrade our machine to anything above Solaris 2.3.
