Gary,

I saw a VERY brief demo of this earlier this year at the Great Wall II seminar. After much marketing and going over what I've already seen on Great Wall I, they decided to do the web generation. This was 10 minutes before the end of the session. And to think that their entire brochure was screaming "Web Web Web"!

Ok, enough whinges... They had a form with zero code - (you know, the classic emp/dept master/detail form) and all they had to do was click on the button that said something like "Generate HTML". And voila, a stored procedure was created and displayed on a web browser.

We didn't have time to question them about the triggers, etc. I would certainly like to know.

I think it's more to do with the version of Developer and Designer - only the new versions have the capability of generating HTML packages. But of course, you need an Oracle server version that will support stored packages and procedures. I think procedures and packages were only available from Oracle 7. And yes, I would assume you need webserver to understand it too.

HTH,
Leng.
