Seriously ... Boeing thankfully knows how to role out upgrades to client machines without human intervention.

Even Seattle City Light. That Neandertal of IT/IS is able to roll out upgrades to client software seemlessly at night using their Novell network. And if they can figure it out ... anyone can.

I will respectfully disagree. Not that many don't maintain different versions ... but rather I don't think it unrealistic to expect otherwise.

Client likely doesn't want to be bothered updating their antivirus software either. Doing so, however, is still prudent.
