Im going to do alot of Korn Shell scripting on my new project and Im pretty weak at it. Its all related to Oracle work. Any recommendations on a good unix scripting book with lots of examples. We have the general O'Reilly stuff and I know the basics. I just find it easier if I can see examples of how to do this and how to do that kind of thing. Lots of code I can canabalize.
Is this book any good?

Unix Shells by Example
by Ellie Quigley

So I dont have to hunt through 20-30 sites, could someone recommend a good site with lots of good scripting examples?

BTW, I checked Amazon and Oracle9i UNIX Administration Handbook by Donald K. Burleson, Don Burleson

got horrible reviews. Anyone read it? Received on Tue Apr 15 2003 - 19:34:17 CDT
