Currently our application consists of datbase tables plus stored procedures, all of which are held and run on the same machine.

Is it possible to run the stored procedures on another machine and access the database which would still be on the current machine?

What Oracle software would I need to install on the second machine?

Where would the stored procedures live? still on the database machine?

N.B. We use dbms_job and utl_file pacakages as well.
