The current version of Oracle 8 depends on glibc 2.0. not the new 2.1 in 6.0. Therefore, everything will core dump on Red Hat 6.0

I had to download all the Oracle executables from my 5.2 box for the time being. OWS is another story and this trick did not work.

I am trying to figure out how to compile the kernel with both library sets.
