External Function/Procedure Calls

Hi There,

I've seen some mails about how to call external functions from PL/SQL Procedures, however at that time I was not very interested in that issue.

At this moment I've a problem and I need to call a 'C' function whenever a trigger is fired. Is there any one that can give me an ideia how to achieve this ?

By the way, I'am using Oracle 7.3, I now that is is very simplified in Oracle 8.x.x
