Hi all,

I have recently managed to install Oracle Intelligent Agent on our IBM R/6000 server, and I am trying to run backup jobs via the Oracle Enterprise Manager on my Windows 95 based machine.

I have managed to dicover the available services, and to create a job for the backup of one tablespace.

When I submit the job it returns with a failure status, and the error dialog box says :

             Failed to authenticate user

My questions :

Where is the authentication taking place - on the server side or on the client side ? Where is the authentication data stored ? How can I set the username/password for the connection ?

and finally, am I asking the right questions, or am I on the wrong track completely?

Thanks in advance,
