You may already know this, but if you fnid a tool you like, you can control
"up to the field" by using views, rather than somehow getting the tool to
enforce your security rules.  That way you can let the tool view all the
fields, but you're better off as you constrained access at the database.



If you need to have different users view different fields, then you just
need to create different views.
