This may be the source of your problems. Are you trying to run 32-bit client on a 16-bit platform? That most definately won't work. Are you trying to run 16-bit client on a 32-bit platform? Is it ODBC or native SQLNet? Oracle says that 16-bit ODBC on 32-bit platform probably won't work and is unsupported. Even if you are native SQLNet (no ODBC) you can run 16-bit on a 32-bit OS, but you can't mix'n'match your app and SQLNet -- it's got to be all 16-bit or all 32-bit.
