It's magic! It was created by the dark lord Bezos who used all
his creativity, all his fortune and all his power to create the
One Ring in the deep chasms of Mt Renier. Apparently, Yellowstone
was too far away. And then he used the One Ring to create
Snowflake. And Snowflake is very good for searching:
What is even more remarkable, Snowflake
doesn't use CPU, memory or IO. It only uses the power of the Ring.
That is why it is possible to "suspend the cluster as soon as it
is not needed". Hopefully, the dark lord Bezos will not use his
power to raise our taxes.

While googling around the data warehouse/analytics databases i came across a blog as below saying how snowflake is superior to Oracle( or maybe Exadata). Some of the points it says like no indexes, no partitioning, no statistics gathering, linearly scaling, auto compressing seems interesting.
