1.Does the app runs multiple queries before it acks successful logon to the user ? If so logon trigger trace 10046 can help us if there are some queries that run and if there is any slowness due to that.

2. Does it spawn many connections which server is unable to handle it might be swapping or please check if the huge pages are used[if Linux]. Since you are already checked on cpu resource.

3.Any warning messages/errors from OS level ?
