Cann't speak to the whole thing, but I would think Oracle Support should be able to say what ports are required to be openned in the firewall to allow the connection to work or at least what configuration file within Oracle controls the port number to be used.
This is where it is tough from the support side. The interaction of different products and how one can "step on the toes" of another.
