RAID hardware information

Hi Folks,

I've finished reading some material of RAID levels and their advs/disadvs for Oracle DBs. Now I'm trying to get a better understanding about how these RAID configurations hang together at the hardware level. Can anyone please recommend some reference WEB sites, books, or whatever. I've already down some surfing but most material seems to be about the RAID levels and not about the hardware that is used to manage same. We're a NT shop using COMPAQ servers. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
