But this completetly justifies Tegri's the statement that there is not a single scientist seriously considering matrix operations done via SQL queries: It takes more than one single person to accomplish madlib.

Does "mad" refer to "SQL's madness" as stated in https://github.com/postgres/postgres/blob/master/src/backend/parser/gram.y#L10319 ?
