Job Title: Benefit Configuration Analyst

Location: Rochester, MN

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:-

This individual will have the responsibility to participate in the analysis and benefit configuration of client plans in the claims payment system as well as participate in the ICD10 initiative as it relates to benefit/system config.
The Operations department has an open position for a highly motivated Benefit Configuration Analyst (BCA).
The responsibility of this individual will be to participate in the analysis and benefit configuration of self-insured benefit plans in the claims payment system.
This person will be involved in various aspects of the benefit configuration role including implementation of new benefit configuration functionality such as software modules, ICD9 functional tasks, ICD10 code set initiatives, and assisting in the documentation and testing of 5010 transactions.
Candidates must have substantial current knowledge of the system and have the ability to adapt to the current business model in which the software is utilized. The person filling this position will be required to work in a team environment at times but also individually with minimal direction

Behavior Characteristics:-
* Candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, and ability to work
independently.
* Candidate must also have detailed experience working with the claims
payment platform, TPA, and self-insured benefit plans.

Required / Desired Skills:-

• 3 Years of experience in PowerMHS version 5 or higher is Required
• 3 Years of experience in Business process definition is Required
• 3 Years of experience in Requirements Elicitation is Required
• 2 Years of experience with Self insured medical benefit plans is Required

Highly Desired:-

• 2 Years of experience _at_ "federal regulatory initiatives - 5010/ICD10 is Highly desired
• 2 Years of experience _at_ TPA Medical benefit configuration is Highly desired

Nice to have:-

• 2 Years of experience _at_ HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions is nice to have
