It's at least ten years ago so I can't remember a great deal. If I remember correctly, which is a big if, the file was a dataset consisting of just parent and child types/classes drawn from everyday life. Probably a CSV file. I have no idea who compiled it or why.
Paradoxically now that there is a great deal more interest in taxonomies it's harder to find specific resources.
