Not only then but now! There is an extremely wealthy general merchandise franchiser in my locale who eschews computerisation and employs a small army of fiercely loyal 50 yo bookkeepers to do it on paper! If I had 1% of his net worth I would be happy to slag off the RM and any other model you cared to mention!
