Just for grins, does the second of these two papers make any reference to DEC Rdb?
In 1984, DEC Rdb version 1 was in final release. I wouldn't have expected it to draw the notice of anybody outside of DEC.
But in 1993, DEC Rdb was winning the TPS derby. The optimizer was largely responsible for the speed. This may or may not have been noteworthy from Graefe's perspective. Received on Fri Nov 12 2004 - 13:16:35 CET
