Grouping is an entity

There are events, a rehearsal, another rehearsal, a performance. etc. These are instances of entity type 'event'. They have attributes like venue, start time, date etc.

There are events, a rehearsal, another rehearsal, a performance. etc. These are instances of entity type 'event'. They have attributes like venue, start time, date etc.
A group of them together make up a production (there may be some BOM type thing with sub productions later). But this 'production' entity, as far as I can tell, will have no attributes except it's name.
So can it really be an entity? Can a grouping together of things actually constitute and entity?
