I'm in IT... how many of us have the luxury of postponing a project for 6 months? :)
I've read your articles dealing with Nested Sets, and I like the principle, but found that it wasn't a workable solution for my project. As you explain, the Nested Sets model works best with a fairly static tree, and my project is more dynamic in nature. Does your book offer new techniques that might be of interest?
