I must have seen this discussion at least a dozen times in this newsgroup.
I like your response. I like it a lot.
And it gets better with age.
But wouldn't the entire newsgroup be better off if we had an associated FAQ
repository? Then we could just refer
the next person who enters the newsgroup and asks about hierarchies to the
FAQ.
