I remember you that most ODBMSs supports SQL. Therefore if you want to use SQL you can use an ODBMS as well. Probably if you make a good analysis work and build database relationships, the ODBMS would optimize JOINS with direct links.

In this way you have however superior performance in comparison to RDBMSs.

This is what we want to make for Orient ODBMS: it's a 100% pure ODBMS but if you want to use as a RDBMS, please do! :-)
