you would be considered entry level and there are no entry level DBA jobs. There are no entry level developer jobs. Economy is bad. Market is bad. if you have a top secret security clearance, you have a shot. short of that dont invest any money in this.
OCP helps landing a job if you have experience. helps get raises too. If you dont have experience its useless. dont fall for any of the scams trying to get you to take people's training. there are no jobs out there for entry level or 'junior' DBAs
its easy to test. take your current skill set. put a differnt name on your resume and put what you would consider to be a 'career change' resume on the web and state you are certified. see what responses you get. only responses will be people not reading your resume, actually looking for Seibel, or trying to use you to find someone else.
