odbc drivers lite

We are trying to deploy an application to quite a few Windows 2000 clients.. all it needs is an ODBC connection to the backend Oracle 9i database. Currently the only way to install the Oracle ODBC drivers is to install about 300Mb worth of Oracle Client software - I was wondering if anyone knew of a "lighter" way to do this.. ie just being able to install the drivers and its dependant Sql Net (the Oracle installer seems to insist on many more dependencies, hence the bulk)
