I'm trying to install Oracle 9.0.1 from the CD pack you can buy from Oracle. I'm trying to install on a win2000 system, 1GHZ P3 processor, 512 RAM, 1 60gb Western Digital Drive and 1 6GB Fujitsu drive. Brand new computer. Been up for about 1 week.

Here's what's happening:

When the install gets near one of the last steps (possibly the last step) it keeps telling me it can't find the partition (drive) I've specified the programs to be installed on or the data (I've got the 2 hard drives made into 4 different partitions. Partitions C,D and E are from the 60 GB drive and Partition F is the 6GB drive. ). I've mainly been trying to install Oracle on the F partition but that didn't work so I tried a combination of D (program) and F (data info) partition and no luck (Not sure if I've tried installing it all on one disk). I think it's the program portion that's having the problem. When I look at the bar in the upper right hand corner where it gives the status it always seems to fail on one called: OLAP instance Manager

I've tried installing the Personal Edition and the Standard Edition. Still no luck. I thought if I did the custom option that would help, but it didn't.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
