WTC-03503 while configuring Database Cache

Hello,
I am trying to install Oracle 9i Application Server Enterprise Edition
Version
1.0.2.0.0 on a Red Hat 6.2 OS with Oracle Server 8i release 2(8.1.6).
Everytime the Database cache is been configured, at 96% of its
configuration I get the error saying that it failed to update the
users list (WTC-03503). I have already tried everything I found at
metalink but none of that helped me out. I read lots of posts of
people saying that tried lots of things to but didn´t succed. Does
anybody has experienced this problem and have it solved? Thanks!
